e-Pashu Chikitsa Service - LUVAS

 In this era of IT communication, telemedicine and online consultation is growing demand especially among rural households where providing veterinary services of experts is a challenging issue. While in current scenario, where our country is also facing challenges to contain spread of COVID-19, telemedicine and online consultation from veterinary experts is of dire need to provide specialised and affordable services at home. Keeping in view of above, Common Service Centres (CSC) scheme is one of the mission mode projects under the Digital India Programme under Ministry of IT & ELECTRONICS, has accepted the challenge and created an online solution for Tele consultation.

It has collaborated with Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LUVAS), Hisar and Animal Husbandry & Dairying department Haryana to provide specialised expert services to the farmers through e-Pashu chikitsa center (EPCC), from Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry Dairying department, Mahendergarh.
